TRACER® Electronic Flowmeter

Measures liquid flow rate, temperature, calculates BTU's per minute, and Turbulent Flow. The highly-visible display is configured via the sealed push buttons and user-friendly menus.

As a diagnostic tool, engineers and maintenance personnel can quickly spot-check temperature and flow in water lines using the LCD TRACER flowmeter. This portable LCD unit is unmatched as a troubleshooting tool. As a process control tool, the TRACER can be left in place to closely monitor more critical applications. The adjustable, automatic shut-off feature prolongs battery life.

NIST Traceable Calibration is available.

FCI Technology
Turbulent Flow is the point at which cooling efficiency is optimized. Flow rates higher than the point of Turbulent Flow do not provide proportionally increased cooling improvement. Using FCI Technology, systemic cooling water flow can be optimized, conserving water and maximizing cooling plantwide without plumbing changes. "TFLOW" displays when Turbulent Flow is present within the Tracer flowmeter.

Switching TRACER® Electronic Flowmeter with Programmable SPDT Switch, Analog Output, and FCI (Flow Characteristic Indicator) Technology

Switching TRACER® Electronic Flowmeter

2" Switching Tracer Flowmeter measures liquid flow rate and temperature while providing one programmable switching set point for high or low flow or temperature. Analog Outputs for flow and temperature are selectable: 0 to 5 or 0 to 10 Volts, for connection to data acquisition system or PLC.
BTU’s per minute calculation is also included with this model. User-supplied 8 to 28VDC power source operates the flowmeter to provide continuous monitoring of the process. Sealed pushbuttons configure the flowmeter and switching operations through user-friendly menus. The SPDT switch can be wired directly to an alarm circuit in a process controller or other peripheral equipment. Four programmable set points can be individually turned off or set to actuate the switch.

NIST Traceable Calibration is available.

FCI Technology
Turbulent Flow is the point at which cooling efficiency is optimized. Flow rates higher than the point of Turbulent Flow provide diminishing improvement to cooling rate. Using FCI Technology, systemic cooling water flow can be optimized, conserving water and maximizing cooling plantwide without plumbing changes. "TFLOW" displays when Turbulent Flow is present within the Tracer flowmeter.
