El-Exis SP = dynamics, speed and durability of the packaging branche.This hybrid injection moulding machine is well suitable in the production of standard caps, as well as thin-walled and packaging parts with minimum tolerances and also in precision applications with high injection pressures.

 

 

LabTech

The line will be used for a multitude of polymers from polyolefin to more advanced thermoplastics like PET etc. It is equipped with two single screw extruders and one twin, feed block, die and a new design of a chill roll attachment with large 600 mm diameter rolls. Downstream the line has a new large vertical MDO unit as well as a wind up unit with automatic change over of the film rolls.

The customer visited their factory for FAT and they were truly impressed with the whole line which, as they said was far better and nicer than they expected. They praised their engineering staff who made it possible to build such a sophisticated line with so many new features and within a very reasonable production time.

UNIQUE CONTROL SYSTEM OF THE ENTIRE LINE

The line is controlled on a central touch screen all with Siemens PLCs. This Includes all Gravimetric Feeders, also for the twin screw extruder.

The entire line including extruders, chill roll, MDO and wind up are controlled with a closed loop system. Here the gear pump on the twin screw extruder is the master and determines the output from the twin together with the two single screw extruders. We developed very special software for this purpose with assistance and advice from the engineers at Klöckner Pentaplast.

The line was recently commissioned at Klöckner Pentaplast by their team of 7 technicians and engineers. Also four engineers from Klöckner Pentaplast were assisting and advising their team and they were very pleased with the machine, giving LabTech the highest compliments for an extremely well done line and great installation work by their team which they said was truly outstanding.
